Motion Twin developed and published Dead Cells, a roguelike action platformer based on Metroidvania-style games. Dead Cells was released on August 7, 2018 for Linux, macOS, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One after about a year in early access. The iOS port was released on August 28, 2019 and the Android port was released on June 3, 2020.
You play as a slime-like creature that takes control of a corpse in a dungeon, through which you must fight your way out. Through exploration of the procedurally-generated levels, the player acquires various weapons, treasures, and tools to combat undead creatures.
